1. Deep Dive
This is a delightfully simply concept executed beautifully: learn about the deep sea by scrolling down a (very long) webpage.
I learned some incredible things through this:
- How many ‘normal’ sea-dwellers regularly dive to super deep depths (Emperor Penguin 550m, Narwhals 1800m – Elephant Seals dive to 2400m!)
- There’s a species of shark that has existed for 125m years
- The average depth of the ocean is about 3700m
It’s mind-boggling to think about how much we know and don’t know about the deep sea.

3. Productivity Blocker
“The first Chrome extension for blocking any website that makes you productive.”
4. Font Share
Lots of free for personal and commercial use typefaces here. I particularly like how the type pairs are presented.
5. Space
Space-inspired wallpaper for devices or prints – I suspect these would look pretty nice on office walls.
